We provide a comprehensive series of tours in Pico Bonito National Park, on the Cangrejal River and in the La Ceiba area that are second to none. With a strong team of professionally trained, local guides, we continue to provide tours that are personalized, eco friendly, exciting and informative. The Cangrejal River and the rainforests of the North Coast of Honduras are spectacular and we feel very fortunate to be a part of it.

Our goal is to continue to provide high quality, personalized tours to our clients at a great price. Our main objective is to offer our guests the safest, most enjoyable experiences that they can have.

We will continue to work in a symbiotic relationship with the local communities, providing employment to local people. We compost, grow some of our own food and support local farmers by buying their produce and fish. With the proceeds from our tours we have purchased land in the area and reforested it with indigineous trees. We are proud to be Honduran and offer delicious Honduran cuisine in our restaurant. We proudly provide our guests with a very local experience with an international nature lover´s flare.

Oscar Perez was the first Honduran to practice whitewater rafting right here on the Rio Cangrejal over a decade and a half ago. Oscar has created not only a world class level of tour options but an environment at Jungle River Lodge that soothes the soul and acts as a welcome resting place for the traveler from afar as well as an adventure playground for the keen outdoors enthusiast.
